Application and Validity of ICC Model Agreements

ICC Model Agreements are generally universally applicable; however, please remember the following when employing them professionally:

  • You do not need to be an ICC Member to use an ICC Model Agreement; any purchaser of a Model Agreement is entitled to its use
  • ICC Model Agreements do not need to be validated by the ICC; they are ready to use
  • ICC often updates the ICC Model Agreements, but this does not invalidate past versions; past versions simply become outdated
  • Puchasers can use ICC Model Agreements multiple times
  • Electronic copies of ICC Model Agreements cannot be placed on file-sharing systems or company intranet networks without an ICC Publishing licence; this infringes the specific copyright for all ICC Model Contracts Publications (listed below)
